Introducing

# Ginny Sims

Customer Success Executive

Based in Hattiesburg, MSWith Shelterluv since 2025

## About Ginny

Ginny holds a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications and Journalism with an emphasis in Photojournalism and has spent more than 25 years building customer- and community-focused programs. Throughout her career, she's been drawn to work that centers on listening, understanding each organization's unique needs, and helping people succeed in meaningful ways.

For more than 17 years, Ginny worked in the nonprofit sector at the local, national, and international levels, where she learned that the strongest solutions come from working alongside communities, not simply for them. She later spent a decade in animal welfare, partnering with shelters and rescues across the country to build community-centered approaches to lifesaving and learning from the innovative ways organizations support both pets and people.

Today, Ginny brings that experience to Shelterluv, where she partners with organizations to help them get the most from the platform and the work they do every day. She enjoys helping customers discover practical solutions that strengthen their operations, support their teams, and ultimately create even better outcomes for the communities they serve.

## Digging deeper

One of the things I've loved most throughout my career is getting to learn from the people doing the work every day. Every shelter, rescue, and community has its own story, and I believe the best support starts by listening before offering advice. Understanding what success looks like for each organization helps us build solutions that truly fit their needs.I also enjoy helping customers look beyond the question they're asking today. Sometimes the biggest opportunities come from a small workflow improvement, a feature they hadn't explored yet, or simply approaching a challenge from a different perspective. Those moments of discovery are some of my favorites because they help organizations feel more confident and get even more value from Shelterluv.

Supporting animal welfare has always been about supporting the people behind the mission. When shelters and rescues have the right tools, guidance, and partnership, they're able to spend more time strengthening their communities and helping more animals find loving homes. Knowing I can play a small part in that work is what inspires me every day.
